Don’t use pop-ups

Just because your pop-up is perfect, it doesn’t mean it should be on mobile. As the close button is normally a tiny X on the screen, it can be an absolute nightmare to close on a small screen. If a user struggles to close the pop-up, there’s a good chance they won’t make it through to the content they went there for in the first place and end up closing your page as a whole.

Remember to optimise your mobile content for local search if your business has a local search. Standardizing your name, address, and phone number, as well as providing your city and county name in your site’s metadata, are all examples of this.
