4 Ways to Drive Traffic to Your Website Overnight: Sometimes when starting a brand new site or business you just can’t wait around for SEO to kick in and start doing its job. You need instant digital marketing results. Well luckily (if your budget can handle it) there are quite a few different options when it comes to getting traffic to your site overnight.

Something to remember though is that just because you’re getting a lot of traffic doesn’t mean that you’re going to get a lot of conversions if you’re doing it all wrong. For example, we explained in our other blog, 5 reasons why your Facebook ads aren’t working, that if you have an ad that goes to a landing page and then two don’t make any sense together, then you’re going to lose a lot of money!

Let’s jump straight into 4 ways to drive traffic to your website overnight!

1. Google Ads

Google ads are brilliant. If you have ever used Google to search anything then I’m 99% sure that you have seen a Google ad in action already. Google ads is an online advertising platform that allows advertisers bid to display brief advertisements across Google.

Shopping ads

Shopping ads are great if you have a product to sell. Let’s take the example above. You can see that there are multiple advertisers trying to grab your attention by displaying different products. The products will only be relevant to what you’re searching for. It will never display random products compared to your search query, that way there is a higher chance of you checking out and making the advertiser money and Google money!

Search Ads

Search ads look like normal search results in Google and they can either display at the very top of the page or at the very bottom. The more you pay the higher you get to the top. So in the example above North Herts Plumbers are bidding more for the keyword ‘plumber near me’ than The Local Plumbers.

The only way to tell that these are not normal search results is the little Ad text next to the URL.

Google ads are fantastic and can bring in a lot of traffic overnight. But you must be warned! They are very hard to get right and can take months to correctly optimise the campaign until you start seeing a profit. If you need help with Google ads please reach out to us here. 2. Facebook Ads

If you’re reading this blog then there’s a massive chance you have used Facebook and also seen an ad. Have you ever been shopping on Google, then decide to pop onto Facebook for a bit and you get an ad for the product you were just looking at? Weird right… nope! It’s called a Facebook pixel. A Facebook pixel is a small bit of code advertisers use on their website to track your usage of their website and can then use that data to retarget you on Facebook. Pretty cool!

Facebook ads are cheaper than Google when it comes to advertising, and you can also get really specific with the type of audience you want to target. For example, here are a few different options when it comes to your audience:

  • Recent purchasing behavior
  • Life events
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Interests
  • Net Worth
  • Behaviours

There are many more where that came from!

There are also a lot of different ads you can create with Facebook:

  • Image ads
  • Video ads
  • Poll ads
  • Carousel ads
  • Slideshow ads
  • Colection ads
  • Lead ads

And a lot more!

Again if you don’t know what you’re doing Facebook ads can be a waste and you won’t see a return. If you’re not sure how to get started and want a company that knows how to run ads, then get in touch with us here.

3. Create something viral

Of course, this is extremely hard but if you manage to do it, it can work out extremely well and your business can blow up overnight!

Viral content can come in many forms. A social media post that blows up, a video that gains millions of views on YouTube in a short amount of time, a blog post that gets millions of views and hundreds of backlinks and shares or a TikTok that gets 20 million views and millions of likes and shares. That’s just a few ways. There are many other ways but we can’t go through them all!

To create something viral most of the time it takes a huge multi-million-pound budget, but with the power of TikTok, there are many brands that have blown up overnight just because they created one piece of content that everyone liked a lot! It’s going to take time as well and consistency to keep posting until something and that’s if it ever does blow up!

4. Social Media

4 Ways to Drive Traffic to Your Website Overnight: Social media is fantastic as it allows you to really connect with your audience. It’s also a great way to drive traffic to your website.

If enough people like what you’re posting and share it, you can gain a lot of traction overnight or in a very short period of time. Even if you don’t know many people on social media, by using your hashtags you can reach an unlimited audience across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Consistent engagement with your audience can boost traffic to not only your social media profile but also your website. If someone decides to follow you, every time you post they’re going to see it which means they’re going to come back to your site again and again if they like what you’re posting!
